Mini-bus Hire

The Crossroads Care mini-bus is available for hire to other Charities, voluntary organisations and disabled groups. The mini-bus which can hold thirteen passengers plus the driver is a Mercedes Sprinter.

Four centre aisle seats can be removed to accommodate up to three wheelchairs, access is via an electrically operated lift situated at the rear of the vehicle. Up to nine passengers can still travel with three wheelchairs secured. Wheelchair restraints are available on the bus.

To conform to our insurance requirements prior to any hiring we do ask you to become a member of the Crossroads Care scheme.

Driver Requirements

All drivers must hold a current clean driving licence and be between 25-70 years of age. A familiarisation run must be undertaken by all propsective drivers of the mini-bus under the supervision of a member of the Crossroads Care transport committee.

Copies of driver contact details and driving licences must be kept at the Crossroads Care office.
