Crossroads Care offers a professional caring respite service. We provide trained, experienced, paid Carer Support Workers who will take over the role of the Carer. Working flexible hours the Carer Support Worker can provide help when you most need it in the following ways:
Personal one to one care
- washing, dressing and toileting
- administering medication
- taking out – either in wheel chairs, walking or by car
- preparing a meal
- motivating and providing mental stimulation by playing simple games or doing gentle exercise
- listening and being a friend
- offering a reliable and regular service, using the same Carer Support Worker whenever possible
- providing emotional support
